I got a chill reading this one. I also had the unique lucky opportunity to see the eclipse with my family as my uncle's house was in the path of totality in Oregon. It was one of those few times where I felt crazy trying to explain to people how incredible it was because their responses were like "thats crazy good for you" and I would get frustrated because NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE INTENSITY OF WHAT I EXPERIENCED!
