I couldn’t escape the noise of the Democratic National Convention this week. One thing in particular caught my attention: this moment

I couldn’t help but think back to the before times when President Obama made a series of jokes about then citizen Trump at the White House Correspondent’s Association Dinner, which—legend has it—was what convinced Donald Trump to run for President. The strange moments at which the world’s axis turns, just a bit.
